What tank.cash is

You send us a photo of a receipt for gas you bought. A person checks it, and if it passes we send you a share of the total in USDG, a dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos.

tank.cash is not a bank, a broker or an exchange, and nothing here is financial advice. USDG is issued by Paxos, not by us.

Who can use it

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must use tank.cash for yourself, not for anyone else.

We currently serve the United States. The list of countries we serve can change.

Your wallet

Rewards are paid to a wallet you control. If you log in with email or Google, a wallet is created for you through our login provider; we never hold its keys and cannot move, freeze or recover what is in it.

If you lose access to your wallet, we cannot restore what has already been paid to it. Payments happen on a public blockchain and cannot be reversed.

Receipts and reviews

A claim is the photo you send plus the station and total you enter. A person reviews every claim.

We may reject a claim that is unreadable, already used, altered, not from a station in the programme, not for fuel, older than the window shown in the app, or that we have reason to believe is not yours.

Rates and rewards

Each station has a rate, shown in the app. Your reward is that share of the receipt total, rounded to the cent and paid in USDG.

Rates, the station list and the programme itself can change or end at any time. A change applies to receipts sent after it. We may pause submissions without notice.

What we don't promise

We don't promise that any particular station stays in the programme, that a reward will be approved, or how quickly a review or payment happens. USDG is designed to hold a value of one US dollar, but we don't guarantee its value.

Fair use

Don't send receipts that aren't yours, reuse a receipt, edit a photo, or open more than one account to claim the same purchase. We can reject claims, withhold unpaid rewards and close accounts that do.

Ending it

You can stop using tank.cash whenever you like, and whatever has already been paid to your wallet stays yours. We can close an account that abuses the review process, and we can stop the service.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed.
